The CR7 Vet has the largest range of high resolution image plates including sizes 0,1,2,3,4,5 & specially shaped intra oral plates for rabbits!
With DR systems you are often limited to size 2 only! Unlike CR plates that are thin and flexible the size 2 DR sensor is bulky, often too large for cats or small dogs mouths and not large enough for medium to large dogs, resulting in multiple radiographs being required to achieve a full mouth series, as well as canine teeth.
These plates are not compatible with the CR7 2.0 or CR8. Click here for the IPX plates.
Sizes:
- 0 - 2 cm x 3 cm (2 plates)
- 1 - 2 cm x 4 cm (2 plates)
- 2 - 3 cm x 4 cm (4 plates)
- 3 - 2.7 cm x 5.4 cm (2 plates)
- 4 - 5.7 cm x 7.5 cm (1 plate)
- 5 - 5.7 cm x 9.4 cm (1 plate)
- R3 - 5.4 cm x 2.2 cm (2 plates)
The new iM3 R3 Rabbit plates were developed by Dr. Adriana Regalado and Dr. Loic Legendre. Full-Mouth Intraoral Radiographic Survey in Rabbits - published in the Journal of Veterinary Dentistry, 2017, Vol. 34 (3) 190-200.
High resolution, Rabbit specific image plates (5.4 x 2.2 cm) for intraoral imaging of rabbits, 2pc. Use size 3 sheaths X7133.
Full mouth Intraoral radiographs in Rabbits using the bisecting angle technique provide advantages including "detailed visualization of internal and external dental structures, identification of early lesions, and detection of occult pathologies. Furthermore, intraoral images offer superior resolution and higher diagnostic quality with minimal radiation exposure, making this method safer for the veterinarian, staff members, and their patients".
iM3 CR7 plates can be used in other CR imaging systems that use phosphorus plates, as long as they are the same thickness, and not thinner than these plates.
