Small Animal Dentistry for Veterinarians - Course 1
This course is an introductory course in small animal dentistry for veterinarians.
Small Animal Dental Extraction for Veterinarians
This course is intended to hone and perfect the extraction techniques learned in Small Animal Dentistry for Veterinarians - Course 1.
Purrplexing Feline Dentistry
The goal of this course is to strengthen the veterinarian’s dental knowledge and skills, enabling them to perform oral-dental examinations and procedures with confidence in the feline patient.
Maxillofacial Oncology in Dogs and Cats
Oral cancer is much too common in dogs and cats. Whether it is melanoma, fibrosarcoma, osteosarcoma, squamous cell carcinoma or some other “oma”, the primary treatment is surgical.
Small Animal Dental Radiograph Positioning
Following a lecture on dental radiograph equipment and principles of positioning, the majority of the day will be spent hands-on in wet lab, learning and practicing intra & extraoral radiographic positioning on cats and dogs.
Small Animal Dental Radiograph Interpretation
The morning lecture will cover dental radiograph orientation, anatomical landmarks as well as normal and abnormal radiographic findings in canine, feline and other small animal patients.
Small Animal Dentistry for Veterinarians & Technicians – Course 1
This course is an introductory course for small animal dentistry for veterinarians & veterinary technicians.
Small Animal Dentistry for Technicians
The course will cover anatomy, dental records, oral examinations, primary and adult dentition, equipment, dental cleaning, local anesthesia, periodontitis, feline dentistry, and radiology.
Dental Instrument Sharpening Seminar
This course covers sharpening materials needed, maintenance of stones, differences between luxators & elevators, how to size luxators & elevators, differences between scalers & curettes, how to sharpen (luxators, elevators, scalers, curettes, root tip picks, periosteal elevators, bone curettes, etc.), and how to do minor repairs of damaged and/or misshapen instruments. As time allows, we will also cover handpiece maintenance (high & low speed), how to change a high speed turbine, and dental cart/machine maintenance.
