Size 6 DR Sensor – 23 lp/mm (Theoretical) – Wide Dynamic Range

iM3 DR Sensor Z – Size 6 DR!

The iM3 DR Sensor Z is a game changer for large animal dentistry, both in equine dental and for zoo work thanks to it's big surface area. With dimensions of 145 x 75 x 10mm.

Theoretical Resolution - 23 lp/mm!

iM3 DR Sensor Z makes use of a Csl scintillator as opposed to the more common Gadox-based sensors, resulting in far higher resolution and less noise.

Wide Dynamic Range!

The iM3 DR Sensor Z has built-in WDR (or Wide Dynamic Range). The wider the dynamic range, the better the sensor can read at both high and low doses of X-Ray exposure. As a result, the iM3 DR Sensor Z is very forgiving and can produce clear, sharp images in more conditions that the competition.

The Perfect Addition!

Compatible with Clarity XR, iM3 DR Sensor Z is a perfect addition to users of iM3 CR7 or CR 8, or iM3 DR Sensor X (our size 2 DR sensor).

However, the iM3 DR Sensor Z is packed with TWAIN drivers as opposed to its own software suite. This flexibility allows veterinary professionals to utilize their preferred imaging software, providing them with greater control and customization options for their dental radiography workflow. By being compatible with a wide range of TWAIN-supported programs, the DR sensor ensures a smooth and efficient integration process, eliminating the need for additional software installation and simplifying the overall imaging setup. Veterinarians can confidently embrace this adaptable solution, enhancing their diagnostic capabilities while maintaining the convenience of their chosen dental X-Ray imaging software.

Software

Clarity XR - Veterinary Dental X-ray Software

Faster Workflow. Advanced Imagery. Confident Diagnosis. More Clarity.

Built for real veterinary workflows, this platform integrates seamlessly with any practice management system or PACS. Use your existing dental X-ray hardware, reduce retakes and radiation through advanced imaging, and turn complex dental cases into clear, visual conversations clients understand. Scalable best practices without adding complexity.

  • Seamless system integration (CR & DR)
  • Pathology recognition (70+ conditions)
  • Client-connected imaging
  • Increased dental treatment acceptance
  • Remote wound monitoring
  • Advanced image optimization
  • Clarity Question Lab
  • Confident diagnosis
  • Reporting

Unlike conventional veterinary X-ray software that relies solely on static image libraries curated by radiographers, our system is trained using comprehensive 24-month clinical case histories. Each case integrates physical examinations, probing data, and medical imaging, mirroring real-world diagnostic workflows. This multidimensional training approach enables Clarity to deliver context-aware, clinically relevant assessments that go far beyond image-only interpretation—offering diagnostic support that truly reflects the way veterinarians practice medicine.

Client-Connected Imaging

Upload images prior to consultation

Securely pair smartphones and tablets with individual patient records, allowing staff or pet owners to upload images directly into the clinical file. These images support clearer consultations, improve client understanding, and consistently increase dental treatment acceptance from approximately 10% to over 60%.

Universal Dental Imaging Compatibility

Multi-Device Support

Connect virtually any CR or DR dental sensor or reader using a standard TWAIN driver. Use existing sensors alongside new iM3 imaging products in a single system—enabling larger-format sensors to reduce image count, radiation exposure, and capture time without replacing legacy hardware.

Veterinary-Specific Diagnostic Toolset

From marginal images to confident diagnosis

Advanced veterinary imaging tools enhance diagnostic detail even from suboptimal images. Clarity analysis detects contrast changes as small as 2%, while smart filters and pseudo-color visualization reveal bone loss and periodontal detail—reducing retakes and turning poor-quality images into diagnostically useful ones.

Intuitive Full-Mouth & Free-Form Layouts

Create clear, complete diagnostic image sets using intuitive full-mouth and free-form layouts for multiple species. Images auto-place correctly, with simple drag-and-drop editing. Combine radiographs and photographs to present a coherent, easy-to-understand diagnostic story.

Best-Practice Discharge & Remote Monitoring

Create customizable discharge letters aligned with AAHA guidelines, including plain-English explanations, before-and-after images, and Clarity-assisted content. Built-in remote wound monitoring allows owners to submit images post-treatment, reducing unnecessary rechecks while maintaining clinical oversight.

Clarity Optimization Pathology Recognition (70+ Conditions)

Clarity identifies over 70 dental and oral pathologies using photographic and radiographic data. Trained on peer-reviewed
cases from board-certified veterinary dentists, it highlights anomalies in under 0.5 seconds—supporting, not replacing, clinical diagnosis and accelerating confident decision-making.

Clarity Question Lab (Clinical Learning & Guidance)

The Clarity Question Lab answers procedural and clinical questions using WSAVA dental guidelines and peer-reviewed material from board-certified veterinary dental specialists. Instant step-by-step explanations support clinical learning and consistency—turning everyday cases into guided, best-practice teaching moments.

Clarity XR is tailored to your clinic’s needs.

Software Requirements

The development of the operating systems is constantly being adapted to the steadily growing demands of the users. Today Windows 10 offer professional operating systems with sufficient multimedia functions. For reasons of system stability and data security, we recommend one of these operating systems. If further systems are connected to the PC, the minimum system requirements may change. Observe the system requirements of all the interfaced systems. Depending on the software used, higher demands may have to be made on the computer system.

System Requirements
