Dr. Legendre graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984, and became a Fellow of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry in 1993. He earned his Diplomate status in the American Veterinary Dental College in 1995, and in the European Veterinary Dental College in 1998.

Presently, Dr. Legendre works at West Coast Veterinary Dental Services in Vancouver. In past, he has operated a mobile referral practice in Alberta, British Columbia and the state of Washington. He is a highly sought after speaker, lecturing at universities and conferences throughout North America and Europe. In recognition of his outstanding work as an educator, Dr. Legendre was a recipient of the prestigious AVDS-Hill’s Research and Education Award.

In addition to being an active lecturer, Dr. Legendre is also a well published author. His articles have appeared in the Canadian Veterinary Journal, the Journal of Veterinary Dentistry, and the Compendium of Continuing Education for the Practicing Veterinarian. As well as writing for journals, Dr. Legendre has authored a number of dental chapters for veterinary textbooks.
